Sunflower Seed Dressing

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups Vegatable oil
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 4 oz raw unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp white pepper
  • 5 tbsp granulated garlic
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh chopped chives

Method
 

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in no certain order. Shake as hard as you can or use a mixer if you'd prefer. Keep Refrigerated. Shake well before serving. I like to use a spoon while placing on salad.

Notes

This recipe is very nostalgic to me. It takes me back to the Shelton House in Greenville, MS. The Perfect combination of salty, sour and sweet.I love to gift this dressing. This recipe makes about 2 Quarts, so half the recipe is that is too large!
