Unbeatable Burgundy Beef

Easy delicious recipe you can pop in oven and forget about until its ready!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 -2 pounds stew meat tenderized
  • 10 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 ounce fresh mushrooms chopped
  • 1 dry onion soup packet
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 3/4 cup red wine I prefer cabernet
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • dash cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place stew meat in a baking dish
  • Mix all other ingredients in bowl and completely cover the meat.
  • Cover with foil and bake at 325 for 3 hours.
  • Do not uncover or check during cooking.
  • The meat will be tender and gravy delicious.
  • Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes, your pick!

Notes

This is one of those dishes thats great to make if you are going to a meeting, or a function. Easy to prep, and in three hours you will have an amazing meal ready to eat! The house will smell AMAZING!!
