Arkansas Green Beans
Ohhh how I love some green beans. Green beans with bacon, butter and soy sauce? ABSOLUTELY.
My nana told me about this recipe years ago. Every time I make this for a friends, parties, or for the holidays, everyone wants the recipe! This recipe is perfect if you have to bring a side dish that will be serving a good bit of people. Arkansas Green Beans

Ingredients
- 5 cans green beans drained
- 7 Slices of Bacon I prefer center cut
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tbsp butter salted and melted
- 7 tsp soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place the drained green beans in a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cook bacon in a microwave on microwave-safe plate for 2 minutes until slightly cooked. Lay the bacon on top of the green beans.
- Combine the brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Pour the butter mixture over the green beans and bacon. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Notes
This recipe feeds a good amount of people.. So if your making for your family, I would say half the recipe, otherwise you will have leftovers!
