  • Sous Vide Filet

I have used the ANOVA Precision for around 4 years now. It is by far the best tool to get you that exact temperature you are looking for. It works with any kind of meat or vegetables. I know that in the beginning i doubted myself when it came to grilling a thicker meat, and this just solved all my problems. It is a step by step when you get a precision cooker. Whether it is Wifi or Bluetooth, you download the App and from there it gives you step by step instructions. It is not very easy to mess this up! Try it out!!!! https://amzn.to/2n1yOpU

  • Vegetable Beef Soup

There aren’t many recipes out there as comforting as a bowl of homemade vegetable soup. Even saying the words take me back to my Nana’s house. During this time of the year when the colds start coming on and the weather changes, I make this soup and hope its magic powers fight away those allergies. Even if it doesn’t, it sure does HIT THE SPOT:) I am excited to share with you a timeless vegetable soup recipe that I hope you and your family enjoy. I know mine do! xo

  • Layered Chicken Bake

Now this is a recipe I feel great about because its HEALTHY! No bacon grease in this one folks! LOL. Gluten free as well! I remember my mother doing something similar to this dish growing up. Over the years I have added in new variations. This is important when making this dish, the Worcestershire and garlic salt are the key ingredients. Its going to leave leftover sauce in the dish you are going to want to pour over your dinner bowl. 🙂 I don’t go a week without making this. Feel free to swap out the vegetables I have chosen with some of your favorites and make it your own!…

  • Mimi’s Meatloaf

I am thrilled to share one of my favorite recipes of all time. When I think comfort food, I think MEATLOAF. My husband jokes that it was one of the reasons why he married me (Ha!) but I won’t argue. Everyone does meatloaf differently. My grandmother put diced tomatoes in her meatloaf and cooked it in a skillet all the way through, using the grease and adding flour and tomato sauce for the gravy. She was indeed super woman. My meatloaf harbors most of her ingredients to her recipe, and I think she would be proud! I have come up with a recipe that I won’t abandon anytime soon!

  • Chicken Parmigiana

When it comes to comfort food, this recipe really hits the mark. My husband and kids loved it from the start! I think the marinara is especially important when going for a dish like this. So go for the San Marzano or something similar. Go as Authentic as possible! I have made my own marinara and you will not go wrong by choosing a San Marzano type sauce. Also keeping some Italian bread crumbs in your pantry is a must!

  • Gazpacho

This recipe keeps me going during the summer months! I had never tried Gazpacho until I spent a few month in LA!. When I was competing on, “The Voice”, we were sequestered at a hotel that was connected to an amazing restaurant called, The Daily Grill. This is my copycat recipe that I have found to be as close as possible! I hope you enjoy!
