My husband said , “You need to add this to a weekly staple.”
For gooooood reason too! It’s jam packed with flavor. And SO SO SO EASY. Mix it up in 5 minutes, preheat that oven and pop it in for 3 hours. Go to church. Go to that meeting and by the time you get home DINNER IS READY. And the best part is the smell of the house when you walk in door. Put it over pasta, rice, or even mashed potatoes.

Unbeatable Burgundy Beef
Easy delicious recipe you can pop in oven and forget about until its ready!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 -2 pounds stew meat tenderized
- 10 oz cream of mushroom soup
- 8 ounce fresh mushrooms chopped
- 1 dry onion soup packet
- 1 large onion chopped
- 3/4 cup red wine I prefer cabernet
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- dash cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Place stew meat in a baking dish
- Mix all other ingredients in bowl and completely cover the meat.
- Cover with foil and bake at 325 for 3 hours.
- Do not uncover or check during cooking.
- The meat will be tender and gravy delicious.
- Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes, your pick!
Notes
This is one of those dishes thats great to make if you are going to a meeting, or a function. Easy to prep, and in three hours you will have an amazing meal ready to eat! The house will smell AMAZING!!
